ONLINE LIVE CLASS - Intro to Copperplate Calligraphy - July 18th (English-instructed)

In this introductory workshop for pointed pen calligraphy students will learn the essential concepts of calligraphy and build a solid base to write with an oblique dip pen and a flexible nib. They will acquire an understanding of the main tools and proper techniques. Traditional copperplate lowercase alphabet will be covered in depth and an introduction to the uppercase will be also covered in this 4 hrs. workshop. You may take the class with your own materials or we offer an option with all the material  included. If you choose to take the calligraphy kit along with the class, the material will be sent to the participants' homes so that they can follow the class, and keep practicing at home. 

This is a really fun, no-pressure workshop for anyone interested in learning a new skill, picking up a fun hobby, artist looking to try a new technique/medium, or just something fun to do with friends. Suitable for beginners, those who have never picked up a calligraphy pen before, or if it's been a while and you want to brush up on your skills and learn the proper techniques.  These sessions are limited to 12 people and each person at the end of the class will have 15 to 20 minutes of private interaction with Aspacia (the instructor), to review your practices and answer any questions or comments .  (During the class there will be a way to ask questions that Aspacia can answer for all via chat)
